Hard to believe that Facebook was launched 10 years ago this month.

It feels as though social media has been with us longer than that.

Perhaps it’s the realization that the pace of change continues to gain speed. And the amount of change keeps crashing toward us wave after wave after wave.

Vistage speaker Dave Nelsen presented to my three Vistage groups earlier this month and said, among other things, that email will be going the way of the telegram in a few short years.

Some firms are already discontinuing email and requiring their employees to communicate face-to-face, via phone or through a Facebook-like platform so that communication is immediate and visible to your entire community.

What are you doing to keep current with the pace of change?
