School’s back in session, and most kids – from first graders to grad students – have already taken at least one test.
Almost everything – in school, in business, in life – is a test.
Last week in my three Vistage (www.vistage.com) group meetings, I asked the successful CEOs, owners, partners and executives I work with to take two minutes and list in bulleted form the key components of a significant decision they needed to make in the next 30 days.
The issues ranged from buying a multi-million dollar piece of equipment to firing a partner –and everything in between.
We worked through nearly 50 significant decisions, and in each instance, the executive received advice or fresh insight that improved their decision.
What lessons are you learning as a leader that will help you make better decisions?
How are you preparing for the tests that await you?
